What is Wizards and Warlords

Wizards and Warlords is a fast-paced, skirmish-style indoor battle LARP. It combines full-contact foam combat with immersive storytelling, set in a living fantasy world shaped by player choices and consequences. Weekly games focus on thrilling combat, strategy, and camaraderie, while our longer-form events will delve deeper into character growth and collaborative storytelling.

Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or stepping into LARP for the first time, we offer an inclusive and welcoming space to explore the world of Carcer, where your decisions shape the fate of nations.

Character Progression and Rewards

Every character you play earns Experience Points (XP) by attending events. XP is tracked per character, not per player, meaning each character must be advanced individually. This allows for flexibility and variety but may result in slower progression if you frequently alternate characters.

Participation and victory are rewarded. Players on the winning side receive bonus reputation points and coin, including members of the leading Company and any mercenaries who fought alongside them. The victorious Company also gains Company Reputation, which impacts their influence and renown within the world.

Even players on the losing side gain some rewards, although in certain high-stakes missions, failure may bring heavier consequences, including loss of personal reputation.

Eligibility Requirements

To ensure safety and provide the best possible experience for all players, the following eligibility rules apply:

  • Minimum Age: Players must be 15 years or older to participate.

  • Under 18: Any participant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during the event.

  • Skill Level: All skill levels are welcome, no prior LARP experience is necessary. The game is designed to be accessible to new and experienced players alike.

  • Inclusivity: Wizards and Warlords is committed to diversity, respect, and accessibility. We actively encourage players from all walks of life to join our growing community.

General Safety Guidelines

At Wizards and Warlords, the safety of all participants and organizers is our top priority. All attendees are expected to engage in respectful, responsible, and courteous behavior at all times.

We do not tolerate:

  • Abusive or threatening behavior

  • Discrimination or harassment based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or background

  • Reckless or unsafe conduct on or off the field

Violation of these principles may result in removal from the event and further disciplinary action.

Community and Respect

Wizards and Warlords is built on a foundation of community, cooperation, and creativity. We ask all participants to help foster a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment.

  • Treat fellow players with kindness and respect, both in and out of character.

  • If you witness or experience inappropriate behavior, report it to an organizer or GM immediately.

  • All reports will be taken seriously and handled discreetly.
