Indemnity and Liability Waiver

Acknowledgement of Risk and Indemnity

By purchasing a ticket and participating in any Wizards and Warlords event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

  1. Voluntary Participation
    I understand that participation in Wizards and Warlords, operated by Konga’s Kreations, is entirely voluntary. I choose to take part of my own free will.

  2. Acknowledgement of Risk
    I acknowledge that Wizards and Warlords is a live-action roleplay (LARP) event that includes physical activity and simulated combat using foam or latex weapons. I understand that participation carries certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:

    • Minor injuries such as bruises, sprains, cuts, or strains

    • More serious injuries such as fractures, concussions, or dislocations

    • Environmental risks such as uneven terrain, tripping, weather exposure, and dehydration

    • Emotional or mental strain from gameplay interactions

  3. Assumption of Risk
    I voluntarily accept and assume all risks, both known and unknown, that may arise from participation in Wizards and Warlords events. I understand that, while safety rules are enforced, the nature of LARP involves physical interaction and cannot be made entirely risk-free.

  4. Release of Liability
    I release and hold harmless Konga’s Kreations, the event organisers, volunteers, staff, venue operators, and fellow participants from any and all claims, demands, actions, or liability arising out of or connected to any injury, loss, or damage I may suffer while participating in a Wizards and Warlords event.

  5. Indemnity
    I agree to indemnify and keep indemnified Konga’s Kreations and its representatives against all claims, costs, and expenses arising from my participation in any event, including any act or omission on my part that results in injury or damage to another person or property.

  6. Fitness and Responsibility
    I confirm that I am physically fit to participate and will follow all game rules, safety guidelines, and instructions from organisers and marshals. I will not engage in reckless or unsafe behaviour.

  7. Age Requirement
    I confirm that I am 15 years of age or older, or that I have the written consent of a parent or guardian to participate.

  8. Agreement
    I have read and understood this waiver and indemnity. By signing this form (or completing online registration), I agree to these terms and accept all associated risks.
